The Portal to the Future
Growing up in the 60s and 70s, a phrase we commonly heard was, “it will blow your mind.” In a somewhat liberal household in upstate New York, just 30 minutes from Woodstock, we still upheld traditional values. Yet, as a free spirit, I was captivated by ideas like "Love is all you need" and "Make Love not War." I enthusiastically embraced the counterculture, seeking to expand my mind.
Many of my peers turned to marijuana and psychedelics as a way to get high and embrace the ethos of "turn on, tune in, and drop out," amidst the backdrop of the Cold War, Vietnam, and Nixon’s era. However, I realized that exploring untested drugs wasn’t my path. I experimented briefly and recognized their temporary effect on the neuroplasticity of my mind, but I sought something more enduring. I yearned to discover real magic as taught in ancient texts, sacred places, and rituals – a way to permanently free myself from societal constraints.
Interestingly, many of those peers became conventional doctors, lawyers, bankers, and tech moguls. I, on the other hand, ventured down a more unconventional path, studying Alchemy, Gestalt, and NLP, driven by a desire to explore the unknown.
Now, I believe it's time to truly cast off our mental constraints and blow our minds in the most profound sense.
Why Now? Why You?
Today, we are at a juncture of potential civilizational collapse and environmental catastrophe. Yet, we possess unprecedented tools, resources, and technologies for global transformation. It's a pivotal moment to put on our metaphorical 'big girl/boy panties' and accept our role in shaping the future.
The Crux of the Matter
We want – and need – to envision an alternative future. The biggest obstacle is our mental limitations. Clinging to stories of incapacity or the need for complete systemic overhaul can be counterproductive. Quantum physics teaches us that our observations and thoughts influence reality. Outdated materialistic views are giving way to a recognition that our thoughts indeed shape our reality, a concept echoed by scientists like Dr. Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, and Bruce Lipton.
This new awareness means we must reimagine a future aligned with our soul's calling. Struggle and hate solve nothing; they’re merely trauma responses. By contrast, when we let go of outdated myths and embrace our innate wildness, we tap into our full potential. This allows us to create a different future, one where we can bring our fellow humans along, elevating our collective purpose.
How Do We Start?
First, we must confront and resolve the old patterns that create suffering. We need to awaken to our true selves and boldly step into a new future, reclaiming the power and love that have always been within us.
Reimagine that we are powerful creators. Let this understanding emerge naturally, resonating with joy, playfulness, and a sense of belonging. Live as a blessing, fully tuned in and turned on. Love has power.
If you’ve believed that material rewards come only from what you can see and touch, think again. Let’s reject the materialist paradigm. Release the belief that we are anything less than our true selves. Moving forward with courage, we can have our minds blown by awe-inspiring, delicious potential, filled with amazing alternatives.
The desire to create solutions for a world seemingly falling apart is within us, even if the roadmap isn’t clear.
