Why 'Blowing Our Minds' is the Portal to the Future…

Growing up in the 60s and 70s, a phrase we commonly heard was, “it will blow your mind.” Even though I grew up in a somewhat liberal household in upstate New York, 30 minutes from Woodstock, we were still a pretty traditional family. Being the free spirit that I am, I fell in love with concepts like "Love is all you need" and "Make Love not War." I embraced the counterculture with natural enthusiasm, wanting to expand my mind even then. Of course, I didn’t know what I didn’t know.
Many of my peers were using marijuana and psychedelics to get high and turn on, tune in, and drop out, generally escaping our Cold War, Vietnam, and Nixon’s "reality." Being an ardent seeker, I quickly realized that using my energy to explore untested drugs wasn’t for me. Although I tried a few, and they did open the neuroplasticity of my mind, I knew it was temporary. I wanted to walk the path of real magic taught in ancient books, sacred places, and rituals and permanently release the societal shackles.
Oddly enough, many of those same peers went on to become conventional doctors, lawyers, bankers, and tech moguls, while I wound my way down a more unconventional path studying Alchemy, Gestalt, and NLP to explore what I didn’t yet know. And now, I believe the time is right to truly take off our mental constraints and truly blow our minds. Why now? Why you?
Today we have reached this state of potential civilization collapse along with environmental catastrophe, yet we have access to tools, resources, and technologies for achieving global transformation, and we all must do our part. It’s time to put your big girl/boy panties on because it's why we’re here.
We are perfectly positioned to tackle this problem one new age business at a time. I believe most people want things to evolve for the improvement of the planet. The crux of it is… NOT ONLY do we want to create a shared possibility for an alternative future than the one that lies in front of us now… WE can. The only thing standing in our way is the mental limitations that trap us. When we hold onto stories that we are not ready or capable of change or that it must involve a complete deconstruction of all systems, or the world will end. Buying into this reality is counterproductive.
Quantum physics has already shown us that our every observation and thought influence how we experience reality. Thinking everything is matter is outdated. We have discovered and proven that our thoughts create our reality; just ask these scientists, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, or Bruce Lipton. And this emerging awareness that the world we grew up in is radically different than the one we imagined, I am going to suggest that we must imagine a new future and aim towards that which we are called to do from our souls.
Struggle and hate are no longer the way. They don’t solve the underlying issues. They are, at best, a trauma response, and we lose our ability to imagine. When we, in contrast, let go of the old myths of conformity and step into our wildness, we recalibrate our full potential. Then we are more capable and prepared, insightful, trained, and committed to create a different future. We are also able to bring along our fellow humans and elevate our collective purpose to create in this way.
That’s what I am talking about. And here is how we start. First, we must do the work to resolve old patterns that create suffering. We must awaken to our true selves and find a way boldly into this new future by reclaiming our lost power and love that has always been inside of us.
Reimagine that we are powerful Creators and allow the emergence of it without effort or restraint and become the portal to a new future. Resonating with joy and playfulness and a sense of belonging. Living as a blessing, really tuned in and turned on. Love has Power.
If you thought you only had access to what you see and touch and therefore believe that is how you gain access to material rewards, think again. Let’s quash that materialist paradigm now and not sustain that belief any longer. Release the belief that we are less than who we really are. We can move forward with courage and have our minds blown with awe-inspiring, delicious potential filled with amazing alternatives.
